Our goal is to raise $30,000, and with your help, we can get there! Here’s how you can run the best campaign possible:
For All Participants:1. Download the Snap! Mobile app and create a profile for your student. 2. Input 20+ quality adult emails and 10+ adult phone numbers of potential supporters into your student’s profile before Friday. These contacts won’t receive any communication until the day we go live. 3. Once we’re live, emails and texts will be sent, and you can log in to share the campaign on social media. Returning Snap! Raise Participants:1. Download the "Snap! Mobile" app and enter join code: 758-008-783 (QR code attached). 2. Log in with your previous account information (use the "forgot password" option if needed). 3. Pull in emails from your previous campaign, and if you don’t have 20, try to add a few more to hit that mark. The more emails you have, the more donations we’re likely to receive! 4. Add as many adult phone contacts as possible. 5. On the day we go live, simply log in and share to social media. New Snap! Raise Participants:1. Download the "Snap! Mobile" app and enter join code: 758-008-783 (QR code attached). 2. Follow the steps to set up your student’s profile (name, email, phone number, profile photo, etc.). 3. Enter at least 20 quality adult emails and as many phone numbers as you can. 4. On the day we go live, log in and share to social media. Why 20+ Emails? Collecting 20+ adult emails significantly increases donations and higher donation amounts. If you can’t reach 20, get as close as possible and then add as many phone numbers as you can. Supporters won’t receive any emails or texts until we launch on Friday, but the more prepared we are, the better the results!
Here are some suggestions for collecting emails:- Family members: Mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins - Family friends and neighbors - Coworkers, doctors, dentists, attorneys, small business owners you know Even if people can’t donate, they can still help us spread the word! Thank you all for your support in helping us reach our goal of $30,000! If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out. BEGINNING BAND DRESS REHEARSAL - 10/8 7:45AMOur first concert is just around the corner! Beginning Band students will have a mandatory dress rehearsal on 10/8 from 8:00 to 9:00 am. Doors will open by the payphone at 7:45 am and close promptly at 7:55 am. This is the only before-school rehearsal students will have, so it is crucial for them to attend. Students will learn about proper concert etiquette, entering and exiting the performance area, and more. Please note that despite the name, "dress rehearsal" does not mean students should wear their performance uniform or costumes to this rehearsal. Concert #1 - 10/9 at 7 PMOur first concert of the year is coming up on 10/9 at 7:00 PM! Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble students should report at 5:30 PM dressed in either their Halloween costumes or performance uniforms (band polo, black pants, long black socks, all black shoes). Remember, uniforms are 10% of the concert grade, which makes up 40% of the total quarter grade. Beginning Band students will report at 6:00 PM, dressed in Halloween costumes, all-black concert wear, or fall-themed attire (flannels, jeans, autumn colors).
Tickets will be available starting Wednesday, and all kids under 18 receive free admission. We are also seeking concession donations; a link for that will be shared this week. Doors open for general admission at 6:30 PM.
Please remember proper concert etiquette: no concessions during performances, silence all cellphones, and no talking during performances. Students will be silently working on their concert observation forms, which are 10% of their concert grade. Any student not following these guidelines will be reported to Mr. Arcia and will face both a grade penalty and additional consequences the following school day. We expect everyone to be respectful towards student and parent volunteers.
For our costume contest, any students dressed up will be eligible to compete in one of four categories: 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, and group costumes. Winners in each category will receive a prize! We can't wait for our first performance of the year!
