FAIR SHARE IS DUE NOVEMBER 1STFair Share payment is now available through Zelle. This year's fair share is $125.00 for all NEW students and students requiring new polo/spirit shirts, and $85.00 for all returning students. Fair Share is required of each student to contribute, however, please reach out to Mr. Arcia for any assistance that may be needed to help pay for Fair Share.
The Band will not deny any student of any opportunity due to any kind of financial hardship. All we ask for is open communication between student, parent, teacher, and the Booster Board.
If a student acquires a sponsorship from a business or from their own family, their Fair Share will be INCLUDED in the sponsorship donation! Sponsorhsips for the 23-24 school year will be finalized by October 31st! SNAPRAISE FUNDRAISER We need YOUR help! We are very close to our launch date for our SnapRaise Fundraiser! Our goal is to raise at least $15,000 to support our students this year in their musical endeavors. Students: Wear your spirit shirt, blue jeans, and athletic shoes. You must have your ID on. Get dropped off and picked up by the rear of the school off of Holmberg Road. No bags allowed for students.
Parents: If you wish to chaperone (in need of 2-3), please be sure to have completed your Level 1 volunteer clearance application via BCPS website. You will need to wear your Blue Band Spirit shirt. If you do not have one, please contact a member of the Booster Board to acquire one. Students will need to be dropped off between 5-5:15pm at MSD. Drop off and pick up is at the rear parking lot closest to the Stadium, enter via Holmberg Road. If you wish to attend as a spectator, tickets will need to be purchased, and only clear bags are allowed. CSMS BAND CAR WASH Our annual Band Car Wash is right around the corner on Saturday, November 4th! All students are expected to work at least one 2-hour shift, if possible. We are in need of parent volunteers and snacks/waters for the students. We also are in need of any tents you may have! Where: Wendy's @ 4676 N University Dr. There are two shifts: 9AM-11AM and 11AM-1PM Students will have the opportunity to work 3 different jobs: - Washer - Dryer - Sign Advertiser There will be a student sign-up form going out the week-of to allow students to select which shift they would like to work. Students will have needed to learn their 7 major scales, their chromatic scale, the lyrical etude from the All-State audition, and practiced their Sight-Reading skills on Sight-Reading Factory.
